Last year, Johnny Depp received BIFF'S career achievement award. No word yet on who will receive this years award.
Panel discussions are scheduled for nearly all the films and gives audiences a chance to comment and pick the mind of the writers, directors and actors. Also, youth workshops will be held, along with film-maker retreats and galas.
Though this film festival is small and not as prestigious as others, such as Sundance Film Fest and Cannes, it’s unique location in Nassau, Bahamas makes it a great destination for film makers to come and support each other while also enjoying the most popular destination in the Caribbean. Nassau is home to resort destination Paradise Island.
