Aruba is famous as a vacation get-away, where you can have perfect Aruba vacations and relax on the beach without worrying about work or anything else. To really enjoy Aruba, you should leave your laptop at home and bring a good book instead. Appreciate the slower pace, have some wine, and take a beautiful sunset walk on the beach.
Some Major Tourist Sights
Though Aruba has many beaches and casinos, there are a few other great spots that you should add to your to-see list while you're there.
-
Fontein Cave

You can travel around the island yourself, or arrange for one of the many tour packages. Tours on land can be arranged by bus, jeep, horse-back or even dune buggie. Or take to the waves with a boat cruise, or scuba diving tour. There are plenty of options to see the best Aruba has to offer.
Popular Activities
There are lots of things to do during Aruba vacations, if you happen to tire of sunbathing on one of the many beaches. The island isn't only filled with things to see, but also things to do.
-
wind surfing
-
snorkeling
-
scuba diving
-
hiking and walking
-

-

-
nightlife and gambling
And speaking of nightlife, you should know that you will have your choice of dozens of casinos, clubs, lounges and live shows every night of your trip. The casinos are state-of-the-art, with slot machines, table games and sports betting. Add in some music and drinks, and you could spend the whole evening. Some of the best casinos are part of the larger resorts or hotels. The Hyatt has the Copa Cabana Casino, the Westin has the Casablanca Casino and the Crystal Seaport Casino is at the Renaissance. You'll need to be at least 18 to gamble, and the American dollar is the currency of the casino.
Restaurants around Aruba are world-class, and offer dishes from many different international cuisines. Caribbean and Mexican food are particularly popular but Italian, Asian and American food is easy to find too.
Make sure you don't spend all night out on the town, or you won't get any sleep at all during your Aruba vacations.
