Why Are You a Network Marketer?

This is not an easy question and you may think that answering it may be irrelevant to any sort of success online, but I believe that this must be contemplated with serious attention, and that by allowing this question to reveal itself internally, one will be more likely to stay true to oneself throughout the duration of your online shelf life. I was sitting in my apartment one night wondering why I was embarking on a network/internet marketing career. I knew that something was missing in my own personal connection to marketing and had always thought that internet markets were saturated with mediocrity and that people were making money and not really concerned about the quality of what they were putting out. I did not want to fall into the same trap.

In my opinion there is a SERIOUS disconnect between the individual's personal stake in what they do and the actual material and products that one creates online. In my opinion this is a formula for an early exit from internet marketing because it lacks any personal connection to what you do. If there is no personal connection then there is nothing for your audience to grab a hold of. No connection for YOU translates into no connection between you and your internet audience. The products that you produce from such a space will not only not have any LIFE, but they will lack any credibility and/or attraction to your audience.

So the question still remains - why are you a network marketer? In the beginning I asked this question of myself, and I wanted to discover an answer before proceeding to communicate through my blog, products, training, tips, and anything else I found to be of value for an internet entrepreneur. And I came up with an answer. An answer that began to operate within me and one in which CHANGED my entire outlook on marketing and internet presence. Was it to make more money? Yes. Was it to give myself my own personal platform? Yes. Did I desire to create financial freedom so that I cold truly have the life I dream of? Yes. Did I want leverage? Yes. Did I want to learn something new? Yes. Did I want more TIME? Yes! Did I love looking at it like my own personal 'Hello' to the world? Yes. All of this was true but the most important thing I discovered was that the 'why's' all had to be internalized. Network marketing, the internet, becoming more public, marking money - all of this had to be internalized. What do I mean by internalized? I mean that I had to accept all of this as becoming a part of me. A part of who I am. I have begun to allow the 'role' of the network marketer to grow inside of me and to allow that feeling to guide me towards success. How do you do that? Why are you doing it? That is something you will ultimately have to answer for yourself.

What is the Super-Objective?

The super-objective is an actor's term that was first coined by the great Russian theater director and actor named Constantin Stanislavski. He is most well known for his tome of three books on the art of acting that have shaped the way actors train for the last seventy century. His method of acting has influenced some of Hollywood's most famous and greatest actors of our time. His training methods have also been used as foundational pieces for many acting teachers who have all gone on to develop their own systems of acting training.

Begin to think of yourself as taking on the role of the networker, network marketer, and internet marketer. Slip into this new skin, put on the makeup, research, hang out with other networkers, and begin to walk, move, breathe, speak, eat, make love, and LIVE the role of the networker. Now you are beginning to feel like you are not only marketing on the internet, but that you are truly making this a close part of your life and that you are emotionally connecting with your material and personal cyber life that you are sharing with the far reaches of the globe.

A super-objective is an actor's term that can be described as the character's unconscious dreams and goals. The character's ultimate purpose. The objective represents that which the character is striving for and wishing to attain. It is the obstacles that stand in the way of the character easily attaining his objectives that creates all conflict and dramatic action in all of dramatic literature. Without it there would be no story, no drama, no comedy. According to Stanislavski this 'ultimate purpose' must be closely linked with the overall objective of the plot of the story. "In a play the whole stream of individual, minor objectives, all the imaginative thoughts, feelings, and actions of an actor, should converge to carry out the super-objective of the plot." (An Actor Prepares, Stanislavski, 1934) Now the super-objective is not kept within the conscious mind of the actor when playing the role but it must be decided and it must be inspiring, emotional, and active. You will use this and always remind yourself to connect with your super-objective when creating all of your online material, content, products, and sales. You will embody this in all of your video content and your entire video presence, performance, and your role as the network marketer will be laced with your unconscious dreams, desires, goals - both professionally and personally as you embark on your entrepreneurial endeavors. We will teach you how to emotionally connect with your ultimate desires, and teach you how to translate this energetically through that camera lens. People are attracted to people, and in order for your audience to truly SEE you, you must develop the skills of an actor in order to create more online presence, in order to tell your story, and to build your business.

Your Ultimate Desire - Your Script - Your Story - The Larger Picture

Just as Stanislavski stated in 'An Actor Prepares', your super-objective must be connected with the larger literary work or story that you are telling. So your personal super-objective must be connected with its larger social impact in network marketing, and the overall message to introduce into the marketplace. This should not be taken lightly. How will your super-objective help support the larger overall super-objective of life itself? Of all content that goes out into the internet? How will you contribute in a way that helps to right the course of our ailing world? How will you use your money, exposure, and marketing power? Will you use it to feed your ego and become wealthy off the fear of others? Or, will you use your leadership to create engaging, healing, and conscious content that will help our world heal from decades of abuse? What is your social cause? This super-objective will of course be based on your own world-view, and will be intricately bound with your own personal presence in front of the camera. What do you resonate with? Do you want your own personal super-objective to be in support of healing this planet, or do you wish to fall into greed, ego, and pleasure?
