If you are just starting a new relationship that is showing signs of having long term qualities and capabilities, be cautious about saying to much to fast!

Single women and men just starting a new relationship can open up to much to fast about their personal information and that can sink a relationship fast. Beginning a new romantic relationship, many times our eager spirit causes us to be open and honest with the hope that our partner will do the same. For most, there are past experiences that should be kept under wraps until you have given the relationship a chance to grow and get to know one another before opening up to hastily.

Single women and men need to be certain of the right timing to divulge all the important things about you and this is a judgment call that you make, the timing will depend on how comfortable you feel in your new relationship. Importantly, by the time you are ready to make a long term commitment to each other, there cannot be any big secrets being held back from your partner. Here are two types of information you should avoid rushing into:

Disclosing your past romantic history-

When the timing is right, you both will need to discuss this openly and honestly, typically the right time is when you are comfortable and feel that there is strong chemistry and compatibility and are ready to make a long term commitment. Revealing too much too fast has the potential to create a big misunderstanding and possibly causing your relationship to fail.

Talking about money more than love-

Unfortunately in today’s materialistic society, many single women and men come to conclusions about other singles based on their income and assets and so on. Long term successful relationships are not based on income potential but rather chemistry and compatibility. Although, at some point, your income and finances will be important to long term planning of your relationship, but in the early stages of relationship building it should be done with careful discretion.

The point here is not to hide or be deceitful with your partner. Rather, patiently waiting for the right time to open up and discuss the sensitive information about yourself honestly and openly. A long term successful relationship will grow based on honesty and integrity and by the time that you are both ready to make the exclusive commitment you should feel like an open book to each other.
