Hi everyone! My name is Sandra. I have dealt with hemorrhoids for a long time. Over the years, I have learned a lot about them, especially the best way to prevent hemorrhoids from happening. Through this information, I have been able to drastically cut down on the frequency of hemorrhoids. With this article, I am going to share my top 5 tips on how to prevent hemorrhoids.
- Change Your Diet!
How is your diet? Are you eating healthy? Eating healthy and adding lots of fiber in your diet is one of the best natural ways to prevent hemorrhoids. By eating fiber, this will ensure good digestion, which will lead to less hemorrhoids. Foods with a lot of fiber include fruits, vegetable, and cereal. So start adding these to your diet! Besides preventing hemorrhoids, they are really good for your body!
- Drink Liquids!
Another important thing you can do to prevent hemorrhoids is to drink plenty of fluids. By drinking a lot of fluids, this will increase the ease of digestion in your system. Like I mentioned in the previous tip, good digestion leads to reduced hemorrhoids. I should note though, drinking lots of liquids doesn't include alcohol! Try and stick with water or various types of fruit juices.
- Be Careful With Your Body
Another very important thing you can do to prevent hemorrhoids is to be careful with your body. This means you shouldn't be lifting any really heavy objects! If you lift heavy objects, what's that going to lead to? Straining! And what will straining lead to? Yep... hemorrhoids! So you definitely shouldn't be straining and lifting heavy objects. After all, it's not good for your back either.
- Stick To A Schedule
Do you go to the bathroom around the same time each day? Do you eat around the same time each day? If you eat or go to the bathroom at all different times, this can throw your body off and lead to indigestion. Indigestion is a big cause of hemorrhoids. Try and stick to a schedule, so you reduce the risk of indigestion.
- Exercise!
Finally... how often do you exercise? Are you at a health weight? Another major cause of hemorrhoids can be your weight. If you are overweight, this leads to extra pressure on your veins which can lead to hemorrhoids. Try to exercise each day and stick to a health weight, therefore you don't have to worry about any extra weight on your veins.
With this article, I hope you learned something. Hopefully these tips will work for you the way I did. I am confident that if you follow these tips, you too can prevent hemorrhoids the way I have. Good luck!
