Hello everyone. I am going to talk about a very sensitive subject to some. It's a subject that most people would rather not talk about. Yes, I am going to discuss constipation! Specifically, the top 5 symptoms of constipation.
Constipation is a rather embarrassing topic. Unfortunately, I have dealt with it for many years. Because of this though, I have learned a lot about constipation and how to prevent it, the symptoms, etc. It is this knowledge that I learned that I plan to share with you in this article. So with that, let's get to the top 5 symptoms of constipation!
- Rarely Going To The Bathroom
This is the most obvious symptom of course. After all, when people think of constipation, they think of being unable to go to the bathroom. But this really is the most common symptom. If you are having this symptom, then it very likely that you are dealing with constipation.
- Abdominal Pain
Are you having a lot of pain in your stomach? This can be a sign of constipation. This happens because your stomach is so built up which therefore leads to the pain in your colon. It's a very unpleasant pain.
- Throwing Up
This is more of a symptom of severe constipation, but it's possible you may throw up due to constipation. If your food can't digest, where else is it going to go then?
- Straining During Bathroom Trips
Are you going to the bathroom? Then you might think you don't have constipation. However, if you are going to the bathroom but really straining to go, this can still be a symptom of constipation. You shouldn't have to strain excessively just to go to the bathroom.
- Hard Stools
When you go to the bathroom, are your stools hard? This could lead back to the previous symptom of having to strain when you go to the bathroom. This isn't normal and you shouldn't have to do this!
I hope this list has helped you to understand the symptoms of constipation better. Constipation is a very embarrassing subject to talk about, but by knowing the symptoms, you will be able to identify it easier and work on relieving your constipation.
Ashley has had a history of dealing with constipation for many years. Earlier this year she decided to create her own Constipation Remedies blog. Through this blog she has researched constipation remedies and posted any information that she learns.
