First of all we should purchase the water heater made of such a metal to which heat and cold or hot water cannot damage directly. Thus we can avoid any inconvenience and if we have the same the company pays a serious consideration to maintain its reputation.
It is said and rightly said that except the gold and such other deer metals no other metal can exist exceeding a specific time limit. It is due to sediment build up in the utensil which slowly or rapidly destroys the utensil. In this case we have to make the preventions from sediment build up.
Sediment build up cab be avoided firstly through controlling the unbalanced quantity of water in the water heater and secondly avoiding the long stay of the water in the water heater. If we remain successful to make these preventions we can increase the life of our water heater up to double. Sum up is that the regular flow of water in required quantity should be there in the water heater forever. Despite of these preventions thirdly we should wash out the water heater once or twice in a year to cleanse the dust which can be there due to regular flow of water and heat.
During the presence of sediment in the water heater the burning time of the burner of the water heater is increased, thus the heat coupled with sediment causes the rapid destruction of the metal of the water heater. So conclusion is that the sediment build up is the sole reason of the water heater damage and the prevention from this build up means successful measure against it.
The method of the above mentioned three steps is very easy. If you are hesitating to perform the same you can consult a friend for help who can so otherwise you should get the services of a plumber and during the process you should watch carefully to learn and next time you would be able to do the needful yourself.
