No, I am not talking about the Mini Cooper, although I really do like the car. What I am talking about is mini-sites.
A blog is a form of mini-site. It is a simple straight forward webpage that has a high amount of valuable information in a small amount of web pages. Other forms of mini-sites are those long lengthy sales pages that you land on when you click on a link. I am sure you have seen them so I won't go into great length to describe them.
In short, a mini-site is a very simple website usually containing between 1 and 20 pages of information. These sites normally consist of sales copy that is intended to sell informational products or services. When you do this correctly mini-sites are by far the best and largest source of income on the internet today.
Here are some of the top reasons you should be using mini-sites to promote your affiliate program;
-
Mini-sites do not require a large investment of capital or time to create.
-
Mini-sites do not require you to have a large amount of programming skills.
-
Mini-sites allow you to fix it on the fly.
-
Mini-sites, when done correctly, have the largest conversion rates.
-
Mini-sites work on the power of compounding.
Here is the number one rule of using Mini-sites. One Mini-site on its own is not going to make you rich, period! I don't care what any body else out there is telling you. The way to success in promoting your referral business is to "compound" the effect of your mini-sites; make multiple copies of your mini-site by simply changing your target market and post as many mini-sites as you can.
Let us put this into the context of you promoting of your affiliate program. As you can see from my website there are multiple products that I sell and so you should have one mini-site dedicated to selling each of those products and as many of those products as you can. In this context your mini-site is the Blog that we have talked about over and over again. Think about it this way. Let's say you created a good blog that generates about 100 emails a month for your distribution list. You think to yourself, man only 100? But now what if you took that same formula you used to create your first successful blog and use it to create another. Now you have "compounded" the effect and you now have 200 emails a month. Repeat the process as many times as you can.
It really is not that difficult to create many different mini-sites. Your first one could be about finding private sources of capital to fund real estate deals. The next one could be about how to make sure that your readers can comply with all the SEC and government regulations governing private sources of capital. Next you could create a blog about a viable alternative to Wall Street. Next you could create a blog about how they can streamline their business and protect their reputation. Next you could create a blog on business and accounting basics for running a successful real estate company.
There are five examples of mini-sites that you could create in a matter of days. If each one only generated 100 emails a month that is a target audience of 500 people in your first month. Next month you would have your original 500 people and let's say another 250 people in your second month. You now have 750 people in your list. Now it "compounds" and next month you generate another 250. You now, by your third month, could literally have over 1,000 people that you could send your email marketing.
An average conversion rate is 2% and a great conversion rate is between 3% and 4%. If only 2% of your list buys a product that is 20 sales a month. How would 20 sales a month change your life?
The truth of the matter is that nothing else in the online marketing world is going to provide you with the success you want more than the proper use of mini-sites, opt-in mail distribution lists, and the proper use of email marketing.
Best wishes
