Pilates is gaining such a wide popularity these days that fitness enthusiasts who didn't think much of this exercise system at first have begun to take notice. This is primarily because of the many benefits that can be derived from following this fitness regimen.

A strong core gives us good posture and proper body alignment. It also facilitates stability and ease of movement such that daily activities like walking, running and lifting are done more efficiently. A strong core alleviates or heals back pain and prevents strain or injuries during the performance of exercises or even in day-to-day activities.
