Multimedia files hold the key to attracting new customers/ clients to your business through digital marketing campaigns. Those days are history, when websites used to consist of little more than blocks of text, with maybe a few lines in colored letters thrown in to break the monotony. The situation has changed drastically since then. Now, whenever you access any popular website, you can expect to be greeted with dozens of pictures/ photos, Flash presentations, videos, and even animated menus. These are all elements of multimedia embedded in web pages, in order to make the experience of each visitor better. Both e-marketing and traditional marketing campaigns can be greatly benefited from the use of multimedia in the websites of the respective businesses.
Here are just some of the multimedia elements that you should have in your business website, if you wish to create an impact in the visitor’s mind about your business:
-
Lots of photographs: Don’t just upload hi-res pictures of your products/ services in your website. Make sure that there are some photos of office events. For instance, if someone’s birthday was celebrated, you can upload some photos taken at the occasion. This will make your company come off as a ‘humane’ one, and is sure to create a good impression in the visitor’s mind. Keep a separate section for such photos and your website is almost guaranteed to get a lot more views from then on.
-
Videos: Did you organize any special event in your office recently? Make sure that there is a video of it in your website. If you cannot afford to host the videos, at least upload those on YouTube and embed those in relevant webpages. Of course, if you organized a product launch recently, a video of it should definitely feature in your website. But do keep some space for other, more trivial occasions as well.
-
Flash presentations: You can always post data related to launches of new products in the form of static pictures or graphs. However, for an even better effect, try to put up some interactive Flash presentations to represent that data. Visitors will love these, and the popularity of your website should also get boosted considerably.
Do not let your business website look bland to visitors. Spice it up with as many multimedia elements as you possibly can without slowing the site down to a crawl. This will impress visitors, and make your website naturally popular. Do not delay any further, grab a hold on digital marketing. Your competitors may already be doing it!
