You may be one who uses laser eyes to pinpoint their goals and then works very hard at achieving them. You might be a guy who wants to build muscle and you work out hard at the gym. Nevertheless, if you aren't getting the results that you believe you should be getting, then you may have to start looking at what you are doing in a little more detail.
To retrieve which areas that are keeping you behind, you might have to examine a few things. Firstly, are your workouts routines designed for your body type? Accompanied by, is the quantity of food I eat sufficient for muscle gains? Last but not least, do I mind gaining some fat in order to build muscle, or do I want to stay pretty lean?
The above questions are important to ask yourself and we will look at them in the rest of this article. We will set focus on these questions and help you draw a nice picture that will lead you to accomplishing your goals. Awesome, let's do this...
Choose a Workout Made for Your Body Style
Finding a perfect workout routine is almost impossible. This is an important thing to realize. Nevertheless, some workouts will work a lot better for one more than another. This is mainly due to the composition of the person's body type and what strengths and weaknesses are associated with them. So if you want some workout routines then you need to make sure you pick the ones for your body style. It makes little difference if you are an ectomorph, endomorph or mesomorph; there are specific ways of working out for each body style that will give you the most bang for the buck.
For example, if you are a scrawny underweight guy trying to add some muscle to your frame, then working out the way the pro bodybuilders do will probably hurt you more than help you. Going at it this way will just lead you to disappointments and probably worse, injured.
So if you are a hardgainer, make sure you are focusing on those power exercises like squats and deadlifts. Make sure you keep your workout time down and not too many days a week. Make sure what you do is what is best for you and your body type.
You Must Eat Like You're a Piggy
This may sound funny or maybe even conflicting, if you are seeking knowledge on how to gain muscle the healthy way. Do not forget, that if your metabolism is in overdrive and you already think you eat a bunch of food, but your weight still remains the same, then it might be time to realize that your must increase it more. I know you may even more food, yet there are some tricks and tips to make it easier for you. You just have to eat smarter and find some high calorie foods. Things like olive oil, nuts, and other good oils contain massive of amounts of calories and they also offer other muscle building properties.
I believe that this part is one of the hardest things to accomplish, if you are an ectomorph with a over active metabolism. It takes time to prepare all these foods, time to eat the foods and money to buy the foods. Heck, if this was the easiest thing to accomplish, then their wouldn't be any skinny guys out there would there?
Do I Care About Putting on a Little Fat?
I know you want to gain muscle, however are you hesitant to put on some extra fat too? This is a good question to ask yourself because it will determine your end results. It is possible to build muscle and burn fat, however, it is difficult and your muscle gains will not be as impressive. In order to make sure you are giving enough rebuilding food power to your muscles, it is only natural to gain a little fat with the process. Building muscle mass is not the simplest thing to make and maintain, so if you are trying to stay clear of fat gains, then this might be affecting your weight gains.
Do not take it the wrong way, acquiring tons of fat is not part of the plan. Putting on small amounts is okay and could assist you just make sure that your muscle is going up way more than your fat levels. You can always just take the extra fat off later and then you will still have most of your muscle gains. So if your goal is to build as much muscle as possible, then I wouldn't worry too much about gaining a little fat with your tons of muscle. If it gets excessive then just back down your calories a little bit.
I hope you learned a lot of things you might have not known before. You may have overlooked a few of these points, but now you know and now all that is left is to succeed.
Time to get huge,
