Windows Internet Explorer is a graphical web browser. It is a software application used to retrieve, present and traverse information on the World Wide Web. It was developed by Microsoft and included as a component of Microsoft Windows operating systems. The latest version is the Internet Explorer 8.
The iexplore.exe is the executable file of Windows Internet Explorer. There may be instances that you'll encounter an iexplore error message when using the application. The sources of the errors usually vary.
If the iexplore error message says "52 Runtime Error", it means a fault in the JavaScript caused by bad file name or number. It means that script is unable to locate the file that it is looking for. This is usually a connectivity problem. You could fix this problem by clearing out your temporary internet files. If the problem persists, contact the website administrator as the problem may be with the website's server.
Another usually encountered error message is the "400 Bad File Request". This is usually related to the incorrect usage of syntax in the URL. It could be a wrong punctuation mark or the wrong case of letters.
One more common fault in Internet Explorer is the "404 File Not Found". This means that the server is unable to locate the file that you requested. Sometimes, refreshing the page is enough to solve the problem. However, if you continue to receive the same error messages, it may mean that the page is no longer available. It could have been moved or deleted. Or you may have simple entered the incorrect URL. If that is the case, simply check the URL for misspellings and try again.
A "401 Unauthorized" error message meanwhile, means that the website server is looking for some encryption key from the client and is unable to find it. A wrong password might also cause this error.
"403 Forbidden/Access Denied" errors are similar to 401. It means that a special permission is needed to gain entry to the website. You need the correct password and username.
Another error message you may come across while using the web browser is the "408 Request Timeout." This means that the computer have stopped the request before the server is done retrieving it. This happens when the internet connection is very slow or the file is too large. You could either hit the stop button or click on another link before the page reloads.
The errors mentioned above are just a few of the iexplore errors you'll encounter while using the Windows Internet explorer. You'll probably come across a lot more of these kinds of errors. If you do, you could simply visit the manufacturer's support website to look for solutions.
An iexplore error on the computer will drive a person crazy. Fix your iexplorer error the easy way.
