If you really want to see celebrities, as well as have a good time, then look no further than Las Vegas Hotels. Las Vegas is the number one hotspot for celebs. Not only is it close to Hollywood (3 hour drive) but it is a place for celebs to let loose and have fun.
Las Vegas offers a lot for celebrities shopping, gambling, partying and luxurious accommodations. And celebrities tend have their favorite hotels. For example Vince Neil, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Paul Anka all seem to love the Palms Resort Hotel. Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire seem to prefer the Hotel Bellagio when vacationing in Vegas. Writer Victor Hugo preferred the view of the Stratosphere Hotel to the Eiffel Tower.
But here is the thing, if you go to Vegas do not expect to see a celebrity. Simply, celebrities try to keep a low profile. They are in Vegas to have fun and relax, not necessarily to be followed and gawked at by fans. Some celebs are more adventurous and are known party animals, so if you are in a popular Las Vegas nightclub or bar, you may see one. Generally, they like to hang out in the VIP sections.
Some celebrities go to Las Vegas because they were offered a job to where they will sponsor a party. These parties can be inside hotels or in clubs. Now if you know the date and location of the party, then you would have a good chance in seeing the celebrity.
Another reason why celebrities love Vegas is because of the wedding chapels. In Sin City you can get married and have a ceremony unlike one you would get at home. Just about every wedding chapel in Vegas offers packages that may include rooms, shows and other types of entertainment.
If you find yourself in Vegas and you are hoping to catch a glimpse of a celebrity, there is one thing you should be aware. This would be the bus tours that hotels setup. These tours are supposed to be celebrity events. Do not be fooled by this. The celebrities are actually celebrity impersonators. Some are quite talented having the looks, voice and mannerisms of a celebrity. One popular bus tour is the Double Decker Bus of the Stars. Celebrity impersonators board the bus and put on shows and entertainment to keep the riders entertained. Popular celebrity impersonators include Marilyn Monroe, Madonna and of course Elvis. But there is usually just one entertainer per tour ride. All of this can be great fun, as long as you realize that these bus tours will not have any actual celebrities, just really good impersonators.
Las Vegas is loved by the famous and non-famous alike because of the several themed hotels. Each hotel on the strip is its own world. On top of that, many hotels give themed-casino nights as well. One night may be a 007 night and the next night could be a 1970s disco night.
While celebrities pay top dollar to stay in the most luxurious suites and penthouses these hotels have to offer, you can find accommodations at a highly competitive rate. In fact you can save a lot of money in Vegas from shopping, eating out and more. And if you are lucky, you may see a celebrity. If not, you will still have a lot of fun in Sin City.
