Perthshire is a beautiful place to visit in central Scotland. Home to many tourist attractions including historical places like Blair Castle, the Queen’s View and Loch Tay, it has facilities for many outdoor activities like golfing, fishing, walking, bird watching, cycling and an abundance of flora and fauna for the nature lover. It is easy to find guest house accommodation in Perth as it has a diverse range of B&Bs to suit your convenience.
Centrally located Perthshire B&Bs are good places to stay at particularly if you are looking for a romantic weekend away from it all or a golf break as it is just about an hour’s drive away from 60 golf courses. You have a choice of staying in small and cosy Perthshire B&Bs with just one or two rooms or larger guest house accommodation with many rooms.
Breakfast, which is included in the price, may be substantial and traditional comprising haggis, black pudding, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms and choice of eggs or light with eggs and kippers or salmon. Most places also offer vegetarian options. Tea and coffee are the beverages commonly available. Dinner will be available at extra cost, in case you wish to dine in.
You can check out three and four star guest house accommodation in Perth (as certified by the Scottish Tourist Board). All modern conveniences are available including Wi-Fi internet access, televisions with DVD players, coffee/tea makers in the rooms, central heating and more. Youngsters can keep themselves busy with board games and Xbox games (or similar).
Different Perthshire B&Bs have different facilities – some have ensuite bathrooms, but all do not. So if that is important to you, select one which does have an attached bath. They usually have a lounge area as well as sit outs. You can also find accommodation in old historical places or more modern ones, according to your taste. Guest house accommodation in Perth offers value for money and more personalized service.
