Born in Leeds England, Rachael Cairns moved to London at an early age to train at the "Sylvia Young Theatre School" where she was awarded the "Maggie Melville award" for ´The Most Promising Drama Student of the Sylvia Young Theatre School 2004´.

Rachael Cairns was faced many difficulties to develop her career although she is very talented who can perform as an actress, a theater artist, a singer and a good dancer. Here is very interesting archive news about Rachel Cairns about her appearance in "BRITAIN'S Next Top Model" (BNTM).

"BRITAIN'S Next Top Model star Rachael Cairns has plenty to fall back on if she doesn't make the final cut"

The beautiful Leeds lass - who studied law for six months before jacking it in - has dabbled with acting roles in Doctors and Robin Hood, singing, events management and now is one of nine models left in the popular UK Living Show. If Rachael wins, she'll scoop a top cover on Company magazine and a rewarding contract but the down-to-earth ex-Sylvia Young student isn't about to get large headed anytime soon.

Rachael said: "I still experience odd about saying I'm a good artist or I can sing or model because no one wants to hear you say those things. Even if I was a good lawyer, I don't think anyone would want to hear me say 'oh I'm a great lawyer.' "You just believe 'that's nice.' But at the same moment if I was good at other things, I wouldn't wish for to be pigeon-holed. You know just because I'm an artist doesn't mean I can't model or like Lisa Snowden for example - she's a gorgeous model, a presenter, she does loads. I was on a flight with her back from Scotland this weekend and she made me and everybody else look like correct tramps, she's absolutely dazzling."

The 19-year-old who played "Emily Fenton" in Doctors said that the make-up artists for the popular Brum soap confident her to take up modeling because of her beautiful long locks. Rachael said: "When I used to film "Doctors", all the make up artists used to say 'Rachael, you must so film a L'Oreal advert' and I'd be like, 'Well it's not the easiest thing leaving up to L’Oreal saying hey look - I've got long hair, use me in your advert. I'll call them up tomorrow!'"

London-based Rachael yet said that she doesn't mind advertising tampons: "The whole would you or wouldn't you promote this or that discuss; at the end of the day, it's your job and you're being paid a salary to do that. "It's not you going 'Do you know what? Today I am going to phase a appeal to hand out fliers about Tampons on Oxford Street because I feel Tampons need to be accepted.'

"If that was the case then maybe you might call me fanatical but you know, it's not going to be that. So I would gladly advertise for them. I'd most likely even get a few freebies!"

But after that she had never turned back and gets full speed on the path of her acting career.

Rachael Cairns is very enthusiastic and talented British born actress who is performing in USA & UK among popular actresses and makes a strong base for her bright future.
