Tailgate Gear is Not Just For Tailgating

With football season coming to an end, many are putting their tailgate gear in storage for next fall’s tailgate parties. But I am here to tell you that tailgate gear is not just for tailgating. To help me get through the next couple of months of snow storms and cold weather I start to think about spring coming. With the warmer weather I know that barbequing, wine festivals and just enjoying the outdoors is not far away.
I start to plan to make sure that in a few months I have or need to replace the things that I need for a barbeque, enjoying the outdoors and attending wine festivals. That is where the tailgate gear comes in. Picnic Time’s Fiero BBQ set is perfect for home barbeques also. It has everything you need with the extra large stainless steel spatula with serrated edge and built-in bottle opener, stainless steel BBQ fork, knife, tongs and a basting brush. When you are finished and they are washed and dried you can keep them in the attractive aluminum carrying case.
The sports chair that is a must for your tailgate party is also perfect for sitting on the patio or in the yard while you read your favorite book. There are compartments to hold your drink, phone or other items you may need so you don’t have to get up while you are enjoying the warmer weather and the great outdoors. For the men who have their favorite university team items displayed in their bar area, the 5 x 6 foot tailgate rug is perfect for the bar area when you are not in tailgate season. But, my favorite item of my tailgate gear is using the folding picnic table at wine festivals. I remember years ago attending Wine in the Woods with a friend of mine that had a similar folding picnic table. I had never seen a small folding picnic table like that before. Everyone was commenting on what a neat table we had as we conveniently sat, drank our wine and ate some treats. However, at the end of the day when we were leaving the wine festival, the table was very awkward to carry because it did not fold up into a portable suitcase form that was easy to carry like the ones today. We both struggled to carry it out of the festival grounds and then ended up paying someone twenty dollars to carry it for us. We laughed all the way.
So remember, even though tailgate party season is over soon, you do not have to wait until next football season to use your tailgate gear. In only a few months you can use your tailgate gear at home for barbeques, enjoying the outdoors and at wine festivals. Come on spring!
