There will be a day when you have reached and exceeded the level of 60, and will have opened most of the houses, decorations, and companies and also carried out the bulk of the missions you need to do in Cityville.
Now is probably the best time to think about how you will continue to play Cityville. A current strategy I am using in the game right now, is concentrating my city on the production of goods.
Start by building a farm community setting, simply place multiple storage building in your city, use the barn or sticks building for storage and ensure the total storage capacity of the city is 3000 or above. Then put a lot of farm tiles and begin growing pea plants that produce 155 products in 3 days, make sure not to exceed the overall capacity of the storage when growing crops (such as around 19 pea crop tiles per 3000 of entire city storage.)
While you wait for your crops to be ready for harvest, another good idea is to put some piers on the coast of your city, which also add 420 storage capacity per pier to the storage capacity of the entire city. Then simply place the 5 cargo ships around each pier, and then send them to Rome Relics, which will bring 194 products every 3 days. Place extra storage buildings if you feel you need to, so to avoid running out of storage space when unloading the goods in 3 days time.
When your pea crop is ready for harvesting and shipment of your cargo are back and ready for offloading, make sure you have enough energy, then start to harvest the crops of peas and unload goods from all shipping. Once you've done this, you can click on the train station and click on sell and sell surplus goods to your neighbours by sending your freight train. Always make sure not to neglect the businesses in your town and have sufficient goods to cater for them at least once.
By doing this once every three days you will be one of those who makes lots and lots of gold coins, experience points and special items to boost the budget of gold coins for your city, and finally will be able to afford luxury buildings for your city such as the high tower businesses, housing and landmarks.
