Cornwall, England gives those on a holiday a chance to relax and put their feet up for the entirety of their stay. There are many benefits to be had traveling to Cornwall which might not spring to mind immediately, one would associate Cornwall with quiet and sleepy countryside which spills onto nice sandy beaches which in turn give way to the lapping sea. These are the main attractions to Cornwall, being less commercially developed and having a sparse population adds to Cornwall's charm.
In recent years a host of funding has come to Cornwall through a range of investments both private and public, schemes including the national lottery and European social funds amongst others. These funds have helped to develop some of the counties assets and build entirely new attractions to entice tourists and strengthen tourist retention.

Eden Project, St Austell - Eden is a eco attraction featuring bio domes containing various plant species from around the world which would not normally grow in the UK. Each dome is a different theme, i.e. Mediterranean and Tropical. It's a worthy day out for all of the family, there are good foods to be had for both lunch and dinner, evening events are worth checking out also, including educational events, ice skating in the winter and live music from the stage area. All in all a fantastic experience for adults and children, a day well spent.
National Maritime Museum, Falmouth - The museum has many show pieces reflecting Cornwall's historic affinity with the sea, as well as national delights and sea fairing memorabilia. A morning or afternoon here is also one well spent for the kids big and small. The location of the Maritime museum makes it ideal for a trip into Falmouth town for some gifts and souvenirs of your visit, have a cruise along the seaside starting by the famous dock yard, alongside Pendennis Castle and Little Dennis on the point and on to the beaches. A good day well spent, for an afternoon bite to eat there are so many restaurants, takeaways and cafes to suit every pocket.
Tate Art Gallery, St Ives - St Ives has historically attracted artists, in recognition of the talent and maintaining this culture the Tate art gallery displays some of the finest art from Cornish people, those in St Ives and other famous artists, well worth a trip and St Ives provides a similar environment to Falmouth, the town is home to many quaint shops where some great souvenirs and gifts, let's not forget the fantastic range of places to eat and enjoy a quiet coffee or juice overlooking the beautiful harbour of st ives.
