Ghana, officially known as the republic of Ghana, is a country located in West Africa. It is bordered by Cote D’ivoire to the west, Burkina Faso to the north, Togo to the east and the gulf of guinea to the south. The world Ghana means ‘warrior king’ and is derived from the ancient Ghana Empire.
Ghana is the place to be. For tourists, this is a place you should consider traveling to. One cannot overlook the benefits of traveling to Ghana. Ghana is one of the most peaceful countries in the world. The people are very generous and hospital. Ghana is the center most country of the world geographically. Traveling to the center of the world is a great achievement and a n enviable one, this is within your grasp.
Tourist places such as the Boti falls, Elmina castle, Kakum national park, the Manhyia palace are all great places in Ghana one can tour. The tourism sector so many other great places you can choose to pay a visit to. Transportation within the country is never a problem. Travelers from other countries can also get to the country with ease as most of the various flights are accepted into the country. All one needs, is a valid passport and visa to be in Ghana.
Entertainment is something you can’t skip when in the country. The pubs and night clubs are all over the place to see to it that you are well entertained with Ghana music. Some of the major cities in the country are Kumasi, Accra, Takoradi, Tamale, Obuasi and Sunyani just to mention few. At these places, one can go have fun, relax and be entertained.
Football is also the passion of the nation. If you want to see football played so beautifully, then Ghana is the place. Football in Ghana has brought the country closer to the rest of the world. Football lovers will always enjoy their stay in the country because the country has got a lot to offer.
The people are particularly generous and hospital. This is a character you would immediately notice when you get to the country for the first time. You are welcome to a vast array of restaurants, hotels, guest’s house and social gathering places. The people are always ready to share stories with you. You will be bored coming to Ghana.
Ghana has a lot to offer the world. It is a nice place with great people. Whenever you are thinking of visiting a country as a tourist, Ghana should be the first choice. The lovely beaches, monuments, waterfalls and people are things you will never want to miss.
