This is all good but just 4-5 links from high page rank article directories will not get you ranked within the top 10 results in Google for competitive keywords. To get these high rankings you need backlinks, and a lot of them.

One of the best ways I know of getting hundreds of backlinks is submitting articles to hundred of article directories.

Without exaggeration there are thousands of them out there. The problem is that creating accounts on all of them and submitting just one article will take you days.
