Snoring that leaves your mouth while open tends to cause the throat tissues to vibrate as you inhale and exhale through your mouth which creates a vibrating noise producing the snoring sound.
Most commonly known causes of snoring
Snoring is in the genes and it is hereditary. A person who smokes takes in the smoke into his lungs passing through the air pathways and as a result the muscles around the air tracks and passageways tend to relax which eventually causes nasal congestion. Sleeping positions and posture affects snoring. If your parent has a narrow air passageway, then it is likely that you will have the same narrow air pathway as well as your children,their children and so on and so forth will too. Asthma, sinusitis, and colds are known causes snoring as well.
Controlled and uncontrolled factors of snoring
Once the air passage ways swells it blocks the air tracks which prevent the normal airflow going and coming through the air tracks therefore it is best to limit our activities that are likely to induce you to snoring and this includes knowing the right foods to eat.
What foods causes us to snore?
Try more on the vegetarian menu if you are tying to prevent snoring. An allergic reaction to a dairy product may soon turn into throat inflammation and cause swelling of the air tracks which in will lead to snoring. By eating more green vegetables, the less you are likely to develop a snoring problem. Overeating may induce inflammation which is one of the main causes of some serious snoring issues.
Tips on how to maintain your weight and eating habits to avoid snoring
Cutting out the heavy dinners will help you to avoid snoring. Women usually use this proportion control self psychology method to help them cut down their meals proportion sizes. Do not eat in front of your television. Eating slowly can help you lessen your food intake.

To determine if you have severe snoring, ask yourself if your snoring is VERY loud. One of the most important ways to stop snoring is to try to lose more weight. When trying to stop your snoring, clear out your nasal passages will help as well. At first it may feel uncomfortable to sleep on your side, but soon enough your body will get accustomed to it and will soon stop smoking.
