You went out to have dinner with some friends in a local restaurant. Before getting you the bill, the waiter asks if you like any dessert. Being a great host, you offer your friends to have the dessert at your house, and they agree.
That's a great gesture, except that you have one small problem: You have nothing prepared to offer your friends as dessert. Thus, on your way back home, you rush into a close supermarket to get some dessert to offer your friends.

Cakes are very dull. If you just get a cake, your friends would have been better off having dessert at the restaurant. You want to get them something worth the trip.
You search some more in the bakery section and you find some pies such as apple pies and pumpkin pies. But that's dull too. You would like to get them something non-conventional, something that they might have never tasted before.
Moreover, your numerous friends have different tastes and you need to get something that can satisfy them all.

Assorted Baklava come in different tastes and shapes are often found in your local supermarket. This dessert is assured to satisfy all your friends and impress most of them.
Such an arrangement often made of different pieces of Arabic sweets such as original Baklava, Borma, Fingers, Kol Weshkor, Ballorieh, and many others provide a set of sweet pastry that satisfy those who like extra sweet desserts as well as those who prefer a lightly sweet confection.
Arabic sweets are in general divided into few categories, but assorted Baklava and Mamoul are the two Arabic sweets that can be found in your local supermarket.
While Assorted Baklava consists of different nuts filled pastry, Mamoul is a Middle Eastern cookie that is filled with either dates or nuts such as pistachios or walnuts.
