Getting back into the dating game after having to go through a divorce can be rough for a lot of guys. Not only do you still probably have some emotional damage that you are dealing with, but you have probably been out of the dating game for quite some time. That combination can be a tough one to overcome and it can end up making you feel a little gun shy when it comes to approaching women, and getting dates.

;Some guys end up going through LONG droughts after a divorce, and they kind of rationalize it as just being the way that it is, or they rationalize it as being the way to go. Problem is, the longer that you prolong yourself from getting back out there and in the dating game, then you probably are just going to make it tougher on yourself.

;Not only that, you don't want to sit at home feeling sorry for yourself on the weekends. You want to get out there and have some fun and have a little female company with you. So, it is a good thing to decide to finally get back out there and just do it.

;Here are some tips on dating after divorce that will help you get back in the game:

;1) The first approach that you make after a divorce will be the coldest one you ever make.

;For most guys, the first time that they try to get a date after being divorced is going to be the toughest time that they have. Once you can get past that first one, it will get better for you and it will get easier. The trick is, to really let that sink in to your mind, so that you can remind yourself that each time it will get better and easier for you.

;2) You don't have to hide the fact that you are divorced, not in today's day and age.

;It used to be kind of a shameful thing to have to admit that you had been divorced and that could play on a guy's ego a bit. Nowadays, it's really not that big of a deal, and you really don't have to hide that fact. Some women, will actually like that about you, just because it shows that you tried to do the commitment thing. Whatever you do, don't try and hide it, own it. It happened, now you are ready to move on.

;3) Women like to be approached by guys that exude confidence, so build yours up.

;No matter how you look at it, you are always going to have a much easier time with women and dating in general if you are confident. The more confidence that you can project when you approach a woman, the better the response that you are going to get from her. Build that confidence up, and women WILL respond to you very well.
