Allow Your Baby to Have a Good Night Sleep

One of our daily activities in life as a person is sleeping. Sleeping is an act wherein a person closes his/her eyes and gets some rest. Because of sleeping, our tired minds and body are relaxed. Some argue that a person’s brain stops when he is sleeping but it’s only a hearsay. Scientists contend that when people are sleeping their brain still performs its daily routine such as upholding bodily and cognitive functioning.
When a person is deprived from sleep he is likely to experience fatigue and weariness. The mental alertness and capacity of a sleep-deprived person is lessened because his brain did not get enough relaxation. It is a fact that sleeping has a big effect on the physiological and psychological functions of a person. Imagine if you only sleep for an hour, I don’t think you will be able to perform your duties very well. Your beauty and charmed are also lessened if you do not have proper sleep. Moreover, there is also tendency that having an inconsistent schedule in sleeping can also affect the way our body and mind perform. Try to have a siesta and you’ll feel like you saved so much energy. Having an afternoon siesta is great because it can relax our mind.
People have required number of hours in sleeping per day depending on their age. An average adult needs to have at least 7.5 to 9 hours of sleep while preteens and teens have 8.5 to 10 a day. On the other hand, at least 12 to 14, 11 to 13, and 10 to 11 hours are needed for toddlers, preschoolers, and school children, respectively. Babies who are newly born and are less than two months old must have at least 12 to 18 sleeping hours.
Have you noticed that a person grows old his sleeping hours decrease and increase when he is still young? Newborns, toddlers, infants, school children necessitates more time of sleep because their mind and body are still not on their maturity, in other words, they are not yet fully developed. Do you have experiences in baby sitting? Have you tried to be awakened by the cry of the baby? Isn’t it annoying? Yes it can be but don’t you scold the baby because he/she just wanted to convey you something. The cry may signify hunger or they wanted you to change their diapers. If you wanted to have a good sleep as well as your baby then you must outline a night routine. To relax the body of your babies, put some hypoallergenic and soothing creams on them. You can sing lullabies to your babies before they go to sleep. Well if you can’t sing, then play baby music instead. If you don’t like music then read them books and fairy tales. Always remember to be aware on the foods and drinks being consumed by your little buddies before they go to sleep because it can have a huge impact.
