Aston Martin Palm Beach, one of the leading Aston Martin dealers in West Palm Beach, is pleased to present the all new 2011 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S. With new driver-focused features, the new 2011 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S comes as the perfect solution to people who demand an exquisite driving experience.
The new 2011 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S is powered by a 4.7 liter V8 engine, which has been engineered with a maximum power output of 430 hp at 7300 rpm and torque of 361 lb.-ft at 5000 rpm. The super sleek engine is coupled with a Sportshift™ II transmission, specifically designed for the Vantage S, with seven short ratio gears that promise the most engaging and intense driver involvement each time you get behind the wheel.
The all new seven speed Sportshift™ II automated manual transmission comes standard on the 2011 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S, and lets you change the gears almost 20 per cent quicker than the Sportshift™. Additionally, the Vantage S features a ‘Sport’ button which quickens the gear changes and gives the driver a more aggressive throttle response.
A number of new changes have been introduced in the 2011 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S that bring an exciting combination of dynamic exhilaration and charming finesse, as well as beauty and practicality, that is synonymous with Aston Martin vehicles. Some of the dynamic revisions central to the Vantage S are a quickened steering rack ratio of 15:1 compared to 17:1, and a larger diameter front brake disc with new six-piston front brake calipers. Chassis revisions include new springs and dampers, and wider rear wheels. A new dynamic stability control (DSC) system along with Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA) and Hill Brake Assist provides assistance during emergency braking situations. Aston Martin has collaborated with Bridgestone to develop customized tires to optimize road holding, further enhancing dynamic feel. Additionally, a new exhaust muffler and bypass valve map, creating a very distinctive and highly vocal exhaust note, will certainly please those seeking a car that sounds as good as it looks.
The 2011 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S, heavily inspired by the 2011 Vantage GT4 race car, lives up to the expectations of consumers who demand nothing but the best from their Aston Martins. Adorning the front is a perfectly-aligned carbon fiber bumper that houses a large air intake, feeding the engine and front brakes, while a new rear bumper and side sills optically widen the car. Standard are stylish ‘V’ spoke wheel styles, while an optional 10-spoke lightweight forged wheel option, further reduces unsprung mass.
