Many women suffer with Anorgasmia or as it is usually described 'a failure to reach orgasm'. The male version of Anorgasmia is Andropause but that is not as commonly found in males as Anorgasmia is in females.

I should just like to stress at this point that I do not have any medical qualifications in this field but I have suffered with this particular syndrome myself and I am very well aware of the devastating effects that this particular problem can have on a woman both mentally and physically.

• There are many burdens in our everyday lives that we are forced to both bear and to tolerate, but there are some that appear as un-climbable mountains and while they cannot always be climbed or mastered we should never be so scared that we just lie there (excuse the pun) and bear a burden while there is often no need to.

• That is almost equal to punishing ourselves and then blaming somebody else. And I am sure that many of us have done that as well?

• I gladly admit that I personally never went to a doctor with this problem and while I do appreciate that many may not agree with my own personal opinion of doctors but as I have gotten older I have now made them no longer my first stop when I require advice (unless of course in the sort of circumstances where there just is no alternative).

In the last five years I have been to see the doctor a couple of times (and I have seen more than one in that period of time) it is almost a foregone conclusion that within a few minutes of entering a doctors office that this will happen:

  1. Upon entering his office he will have the prescription pad in his hand and if not then, well he will within two minutes.

  2. And then he will refer me to see somebody else.

Moving on...

  1. There are two kinds of anorgasmia, there is 'primary anorgasmia' that is where an orgasm has never been attained, and then there is 'secondary anorgasmia' where the orgasms were achieved in the past but now that has kind of died out.

  2. There are many types of remedies, some intrusive both physically and personally, and others much less intrusive, quicker acting, and a whole lot cheaper (plus without the risk of any side effects).

We do live in stressful times, no doubt about that and there are things that we have to tolerate and things that we do not..

Smile, try and be happy, maybe the sun will come out again?

Good luck & God Bless,

I married for a second time when I was in my 50's and I am thankful that I did not accept this 'getting old rubbish'. Please visit my website at http://herhealth.co trust me there is still fun and good health to be enjoyed.... we only live once...live well!! Best wishes, Maxine.
