Last week you went to a Beagle Breeder and brought the most beautiful puppy home. Odds are the puppy has not had the proper training. So it's one of the first things you should do with the puppy. It is time to draw the perfect Training plan! But where do you start?
To begin
Here are some things to remember: if a Beagle puppy is not taught to sit, then you cannot get frustrated when the dog does not sit. Always praise the puppy for the good things, give the cute Beagle a treat or a compliment.
Training time
Training puppies takes time and practice, working with one at a time is always good. Puppyhood is the best time to teach. First, work with the puppy name and then move forward. The following should be "sit." This is where the puppy starts most of the other orders, such as "lie down" or "crawl."
Process
Start with "sit" with a treat in your hand, and face showing the puppy the treat. Say "sit" and as you say it, gently press your back against the floor. If the puppy obeys, give the Beagle the treat and praise the puppy. Patience and practice are very important when training your puppy. Beagles are adorable but they must be trained properly! When it is going well with the command "sit" you can go with the command "lie down", just keep your dog in a sitting position and gently move the treat away from him to you and he should go to the position of "lie down ".
Note: Make short and fun training lessons. Never change the order, if you start with the command "sit" do not change to a similar one. This will confuse your puppy!
Generalities
Dogs, especially beagle puppies, often bite everything within reach. Such behavior is attributed to boredom, stress, sore gums. It's normal. However, it is necessary to educate not to shred all your stuff. Here are three steps to teach him not to bite.
You will need:
-
Toys.
-
Bones.
-
Time.
-
Patience.
Give your puppy, a toy or a large bone. You will notice the beagle will fully bite it! Note that the size of the toy or bone does not fit in the mouth, or else your dog may suffocate. Share as much time as possible with the beagle. These puppies need attention. Take your cute puppy to walk and exercise a lot! Play with your puppy as much as you can!
Exercise
A very important part of the training is the exercise routine. It is recommended to encourage your puppy for daily exercise; it can be of at least forty-five minutes. Try to monitor the puppy actions in order to surprise the dog at the precise moment in which you notice the beagle is biting things, because if you rebuke later, even minutes after it has bitten into something, you will not get anything. As soon as you get closer to bite something, he pronounced aloud the word "no." Repeat this routine constantly. You will need a lot of patience, like children dogs are slow learners.
