Is your pitbull as large as a baby bear? Have you forgotten the last time either you or your dog went out for a walk? Pitbull obesity is a serious problem and it's spreading all over America like AIDS, and no one is taking it seriously. With 2 out of 3 Americans morbidly obese, we have really let ourselves go as a people, so who is looking out for our dogs?
I am here to shed some light on the problem. First, dogs are like people, sometimes even better than people, so they have the ability to contract humanlike diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Then you will be faced with a harsh dilemma - do you keep eating out 12 twelve times a week or pay for that expensive surgery for Fido? It was a tough decision I had to make to put my pitbull down. What? You can't judge me for not wanting to give up my cheeseburgers.
Let's be serious here folks, the only way we can make sure our pitbull pups hang around is... that dreaded word... diet. That's right; you have to cut down the calories. What is a great addition to diet? Exercise. Pull out those sweats from the closet, you know, the ones you haven't seen since 1998? Put them on and take your pitbull for a walk around the block. It will do both him and you a world of good. You will probably get a rash as your thighs rub together for the first time in the twenty first century, but hey, sacrifices have to be made.
Another way to lose some of those excess pounds is motivation. Buy your pitbull some new toys, have your handy cousin Martha build him an obstacle course. Go to the park so he can make some new friends. Your pitbull's new friends can come over for a tea party or play cards - like in that painting. But make sure that when you serve snacks that they are low in fat and high in fiber. You know what? Don't even serve snacks at all. Who the hell do those dogs think they are? Coming to your house and eating your food. The bastards didn't even invite you to their poker game.
