PRINCESS OR BALLERINA? THIS SUMMER, YOUR LITTLE ONE CAN BE BOTH!
At The Art of Dance Academy, we specialize in making your child’s dancing dreams come true, while playing the part of her favorite Princess of the Day. Our exclusive Summer Princess Camp encourages imagination, etiquette, self-expression and team play, all within a structured, nurturing and loving environment. Each day focuses on a new theme: Under the Sea, Jungle Fun, Classic Princess Characters, and finally, our famous "Princess Procession Day," where we entertain you and your family with our Royal Dance Performance on the last day of camp. You are welcome to videotape your Star in this memorable event!
Theatre/Play Acting: Your little one arrives dressed as her favorite princess. We will enhance their character for that day with drama, mime, props, tiaras, crowns, feather boas, and accessories for their "dress-up" time to prepare for their free class picture, which they frame and decorate to take home as a memorable keepsake of their new princess friends.
Dance: Basic classical ballet, creative movement, jazz and tap dancing taught through interactive games and imaginative play will emphasize co-ordination, motor skills and grace.
Gymnastics and Cheer: Balance-beam, mini-trampoline and tumbling skills are reinforced to increase strength and flexibility. Cheer brings everyone together in performance related activities that make structure and team-play fun!
Music and Vocal: Individual singing with a microphone and hands-on interaction with the keyboard, violin and guitar fosters familiarity with musicality, rhythm and self-confidence.
Art & Creative Expression: We create and decorate unique props, masks and crafts each day, to take home for your fun and display. We encourage individual creativity in these art projects that result in bringing out the uniqueness in each child’s personality.
We save the best for last: Face painting and In-Studio Performance takes place in the last hour of our last day of camp. This is a professionally created performance designed for your children to demonstrate what they have learned and have been working towards all week. This is their chance to shine like the stars that they are and to be praised for their accomplishments. This ultimately fosters their love for the cultural arts and instills the joy of theatre and dance within them for the rest of their lives.
There is still time to participate in this unique opportunity. Please visit http://www.artofdanceacademy.net for enrollment details.
