People who are overweight and those who have eating disorder have one major problem. They love food and eat from time to time, even between meals. They can't resist food. They eat a lot of junk food as snacks in between large meals.

When you advise them to stop snacking, they find it extremely hard to do so. They just cannot go on without food for so many hours. They need to keep eating from time to time. For this reason, many people find it hard to stick to a dieting plan. They give up after a few days because they are unable to follow the rigid rules and guidelines of the diet plan.

However, there is good news for such people. New research indicates that eating healthy snacks can be good for fast weight loss. However, note that snacks should be healthy ones and not junk food. Initially, people may struggle to give up junk food. In order to overcome junk food addiction, don't keep junk food at home. Instead of that, have vegetables and fruits in your refrigerator. Keep some nuts or apple in your car to eat while traveling. If you have junk food near you, it can be quite tempting. So don't keep anything at home.

Exercise will power while shopping by not buying any junk food items at all. Even when partying or outside with friends, politely refuse whenever someone offers you unhealthy or fattening snack items. Slowly but surely you can overcome this habit and be on your way to healthy, fast weight loss.
