It is during pregnancy, most women start to "listen to" their body. Once this awareness develop, they also become aware of the importance of correct nutrition and the avoidance of various stimulants. These techniques will give you peace and calmness for mind, which is very important at this situation where fear and anxiety might arise at any moment. Another important requirement is the ability to "let go" various issues that might arise such as the non-pregnant body shape and the physical and mental tensions along with all the contractions during the labour period. Few pregnancy yoga teachers conduct special birth preparation classes for women especially for late pregnancy and postnatal recovery for mothers and babies.
