During birthday celebrations, wedding anniversaries or other occasions where lots of people attend, often, very little is done about lighting beyond putting up enough illumination for the people to see each other. Sometimes people have fluorescent lighting to light up the pathways or pseudo-interior lighting design from a light rental company to light up the stage and possible performers, and that is about all. For many, lighting is not that important.

Spotlights may also be used to highlight architectural elements of your shopping environment.

Laser lights are easily available today and they can be sourced from your neighborhood lighting store. A laser light works on a simple mechanism. It converts sound into electric pulses and then these pulses of light are shown through small electrical heads. Some high quality laser lights have in-built microphones which pick up the sound inputs from the music playing, take the low frequency from the sound input and convert the various pulses of lights into a spectacular laser show.

Candle services are popular in most religious events. Candles symbolize Jesus as the Light of the World. Candle-lit Christmas Services offer a welcome warmth to a cold evening service where Christian's gather on the eve of their celebration of Christ's birth. Just as Advent candles are lit every Sunday during the month of December, the candles carried by parishioners are lit on Christmas Eve to show the light Christ brought to earth when He gave His life for our salvation.
