Make Easter a family affair with Easter bunny clipart crafts that will allow your children to be a part of the holiday planning.

For children, Easter is one of the most anticipated celebrations of the year. Spring is in the air, flowers are awakening, and excitement levels are rising with the inspirations of chocolate dreams, treasure hunts, and hidden surprises. You can put all that energy to good use and add even more fun to the holiday by having your little ones make clipart crafts that can be used for decorations, games, or gifts. Not only will this provide hours of quality family time, but it will also build special memories and maybe even begin a yearly tradition.

Cards:

Have your children use clipart images to make unique and creative cards for family, friends, local retirement homes, or even dinner guests.

Find a clipart pattern of a rabbit, glue to folded card stock paper and accessorize with felt ears, squiggly eyes, and pink pom pom noses. Children can also have fun creating a colorful mosaic background using pieces of dyed eggshells or foil.

Enlarge bunny images, glue to folded pieces of heavy paper or bristol board and cut around the edges to create rabbit shaped cards. Attach flashy bows to the necks, add basket images with colorful eggs embellished with sparkles or glitter.

Dress up your envelopes by printing or gluing a bunny image onto cardboard, cutting out, and slicing or separating the arms from the body so the envelope can be inserted, making it look as if the bunny is holding the card. This will make a cute and unique addition whether the children make their own cards or simply accessorize the envelopes of store bought ones.

Dinner Table:

Add a little enchantment and charm to your holiday dinner table by having your children create some springtime decorations.

Design a beautiful centerpiece by gluing colorful bunny images to a large terracotta flower pot filled with decorated eggs or paper lilies.

Glue clipart images to large bristol board rectangles and cover with clear adhesive or laminate to create placemats for dinner guests. Children can even use small colorful egg images to personalize their masterpieces with each guest's name or use black and white patterns so the little ones can show off their artistic coloring ability.

Add some fun to your dinner table by having your children make unique place card holders. Print each guests name on a plastic egg and decorate with small bunny images. Create rings using strips of card stock or sections of toilet paper rolls, decorate with clipart bunny pictures, place eggs in holders, and set one at each plate. Or, for something a littler simpler, print names on folded squares of hard paper or cardboard, glue a clipart rabbit image in the corners, and place one at each setting. If you want to be really creative, design a stand-up image for each plate with the guest's names written on the bunny's belly.

Games:

Gather the family around the table for a night of fun and celebration with one-of-a-kind Easter games created by your children. Use clipart images to design picture Easter Bingo or create your own deck of Easter Go Fish cards. Make an Easter version of Snakes and Ladders or Candyland using a large piece of cardboard or bristol board and forming a path with images of eggs, baskets, or baby chicks. Create rabbit game pieces and begin a friendly competition that will have players collecting eggs, delivering chocolate, falling down bunny holes, and jumping over bushes in a quest for the finish line.

Gifts:

Clipart can help add a personal touch and make simple Easter gifts extra special. Make a great gift for teachers or babysitters by having your children color a bunny image and attach it to a large plain foiled wrapped chocolate egg. Glue a rabbit image onto cardboard, mount on a wooden craft stick or dowel, and stick into a potted lily to add a little more beauty to this lovely gift idea.

Use a clipart image to make a pattern that can be traced onto eggs and then hand painted by young artists. Or print these pictures onto label paper to make stickers that can be placed on eggs. Put these creations into a Spring basket and use as favors for your Easter dinner guests.

Easter bunny clipart crafts are an easy way to spend time as a family and get your children involved in the planning of your holiday celebrations.
