For someone who’s fighting cancer it is vitally important to support the immune system. This complex and little understood self-repair system which maintains our health has an incredible capacity to heal the body from major health problems when given the right conditions. To support the immune system, you have to provide the right conditions and you do that through natural living.
We all fear cancer because we fear what we don’t understand but with a little knowledge about its causes and the reasons why there is so much of it today we need have no fear of it. Cancer today is well understood and is only a disease of an immune system that’s been weakened by the way we now live so common sense should tell us that the first priority is to strengthen it.
Such is the power of our current medical system that we all believe the only way to treat cancer is by cutting it out with surgery, burning it with radiation or using a poison to try and eliminate it and these three treatments are accepted without question these days. Our treatments for cancer today are very good at causing cancer to shrink but that’s about all they can achieve. Also these three ways of treating it all suppress the immune system and that is not very helpful when you are trying to achieve a complete restore to health.
Your immune system is a very important tool when fighting cancer because a permanent cure will only be achieved by using this system. Most people don’t realize that when cancer has been diagnosed there are gentle and effective ways to overcome it. Our bodies are designed to maintain and heal themselves without the use of drugs and you do that through natural living.
To understand how to strengthen the immune system you need to know what supports it and also factors that suppress it. Our diets have strayed now days to eating the food that’s been grown with artificial fertilizers and chemical sprays instead of food that’s been naturally produced, freshly picked and not been processed or interfered with in any form.
Foods that cause the immune system to weaken are; refined white flour, tinned fruit, salt, soft drink, ice cream, margarine, too much alcohol, a high fat diet and any sugar not found in nature. Lifestyle factors that also suppress it are; constant worry, mental and physical trauma, anger, grief, fear and frustration, low self esteem and a sedentary lifestyle. Then there are chemicals which affect the body and they are; fluoride, pesticides, smoking and all drugs, both recreational and medicinal, especially chemotherapy.
Factors the boost the immune system are; clean water to drink, adequate rest and sleep, fresh air, a little sunshine most days for the important vitamin D, exercise, a diet of our natural food and most importantly a positive attitude towards life. This self-repair system can not be boosted with a quick fix treatment or a miracle drug as there are only natural ways to achieve it. Boosting it is all about making healthy lifestyle choices.
Food therapy plays a powerful role in curing cancer as our natural food is our medicine, so a patient should be very selective about every food items they consume on a daily basis.
There is one thing we know that our body can do and that is miraculously heal itself if given the right conditions and it certainly works with cancer.
You can survive cancer, but our modern toxic ways of treating the disease are not necessary the most effective way to achieve a cure because these treatments don’t support the human body’s natural immune system.
