One of the busiest and most exciting cities in the entire world is New York City. The city has much to offer with a range of hotels, monuments, and sights to see. Home to the Empire State Building, Central Park, and the Statue of Liberty, NYC has many things to see and do.

Manhattan is one of the most densely populated areas in the city of New York, of the other five boroughs in the city. A borough is a form of government that serves parts of a consolidated city.

Considered as one of the top tourist locations in the world, Manhattan offers exciting skyscrapers, activities and fun that will last your whole stay. The city is a melting pot for a diverse amount of cultures and people, which is much of what makes New York City the place that it is today. The Big Apple has some of the largest museums in the world, high class theater productions, shopping and a list of restaurants that won't leave your taste buds disappointed.

The city is filled with so much, that it might take more than one trip to really experience NYC. New York City is the center of finance of the United States and one of the most famous in the entire world. Wall Street and the New York stock exchange are on your way to Battery Park, the departure point that hosts the ferry to take visitors to the Statue of Liberty. As you continue your visit, make sure to stop by interesting places like the neighborhood of Tribeca, a place packed with ritzy restaurants and home to Robert DeNiro's film festival. SoHo and Greenwhich Village also offer an artsy atmosphere like nothing else. The Lower East side known as the Jewish immigrants part of town has all kinds of eateries and synagogues. Close to here are other cultural neighborhoods like Chinatown and Little Italy which also offer a taste of their respective countries.

If you head uptown, you will find a completely different setting in terms of architecture and elegance that makes it a very unique area to see. The Upper East Side is home to wealth and glamor with expensive buildings and people dressed in the latest and most costly fashion. At the center of the city sits famous Central Park, a serene green land which gives an escape from the hectic lifestyle of the Big Apple. Central Park has been in many different films and is considered one of the most romantic spots in New York City. If you are looking for a fun activity, a horse-drawn carriage is a pleasant way to see the park and is a very romantic ride

Above the high fashion people in Manhattan, it is better known for its museums. The most visited and famous that New York offers is the Metropolitan Museum of Art, is also the largest with over three million pieces of art from most known cultures of the world. The museums don't end here though. It's definitely worth you time to visit as many museums as possible as each offers its own displays of interest.
