Imagine a world where parents let their children do whatever their wanted without any punishment, or discipline. Imagine no person received an education, what kind of world would we live in? Dog training is very much like that too. Let's get one thing straight, dogs are animals, they have been domesticated but they are still animals, wild animals that live on instincts. As a dog owner you have to understand the importance of dog training not just for your own benefit, or if you're teaching him tricks and such, for your amusement. You have to acknowledge your surroundings and the community you live in.

Depending on where you live, you may need to train your dog more than someone else. For example if your live in the city you will most likely need to teach your dog more commands and make sure he's very well behaved. As opposed to someone living far outside of town in the woods where the basic "come" and "no" will probably be enough. Of course that's not to say that people shouldn't teach and train their dogs as much as possible. It's just important to understand the severity and the great importance of training your dogs.

As with children, you cannot let your dog live a life without you being a major part of their every day. Dogs need that care and education just like humans do. As a matter of fact they need it more than people. The reason for that is that humans live in a human society and what you're trying to do is domesticate a wild animal that lives on nothing but instinct and nature's rules. We have to make sure the dogs understand that where they are is not nature, and they are not the "top dog".

It's also important to understand that it's not just one breed of dogs that is like that. This is true for all dogs and NOT more true for others. For example, some people think that the pitbull requires more training than other dogs. That the pitbull is somehow more dangerous and pitbull training is more difficult. That is not true at all. As with all breeds, pitbull just requires different kind of training as other dogs would depending on their character. The pitbull tends to be a little more stubborn, and a little more strong willed. But that doesn't mean they're un-trainable, they just need a strong willed trainer that's also as stubborn as the pitbull if not more so. Pitbulls by nature, like all other dogs, are wild animals. They need to be trained properly and the way to do that is to understand how your dog thinks and what needs to be done for your dog to completely understand you.

Remember, dogs are wild animals that you want to live among humans. Our rules and guidelines are not theirs. And we can't just "tell" them what to do without first properly training them. Get everything you need to know about pitbull training.

Pitbull training can be a little tricky, make sure you train your the right way, without doing any long term damage to your beloved pup and your family.
