Afraid to look in the mirror?. Scared you might see a mountain of belly fat looking back at you?. Do not panic if that is the case though. There are many things you can do to burn belly fat fast. Here are a few guidelines to burn belly fat and lose waist inches:
-
Take a walk. A quick walk back from the shops, to work, around the park or whatever these are surprisingly easy ways to burn calories without too much effort. This is perfect for people who dislike the gym or are not fans of tough exercise workouts.
-
Run, swim or row or any other exercise that you enjoy just make sure it becomes part of your routine. The main thing to ensure is that you work out regularly, whilst some exercises will be more intense and burn off more calories, this should be of secondary concern to actually making exercise part of your routine. Swimming would be a decent option for any one suffering from joint problems.
-
Interval Training. This is a great way to workout, here is what you do. Get on a treadmill and after a couple of minutes warm-up do two minutes running at 90% effort then follow this with 1 minute at 50% effort. Persist with the same cycle of exercise for repeating the efforts for at least twenty minutes. Not only is this going to improve you cardio-vascular fitness, it will also give you metabolic rate a huge boost that will keep your body burning calories for several hours after.
-
Workout with weights. Lift two to three times a week. The reason is that muscle mass requires more calories to keep it alive and functioning properly than fat tissue does. This means that the more muscle you have the more calories you will burn even when at rest.
-
Pursue a sport. Get involved with a local sports team or club. Maybe rediscover an old passion from school. Maybe play squash, 5 a side football, volleyball anything you like. Being part of a team is very motivating in that you don't want to let your mates down and exercise can start to feel like fun and not a chore.
And of course cutting out the fast food and sweets plus drinking lots of water goes without saying. Following these tips will allow you to burn belly fat consistently but it is up to you, good luck!
