And just like you might bounce back to it's original weight after quitting a diet, the same might happen after you stop taking the pills. A common method to lose weight is to combine a healthy diet with weight loss pills to increase the chance of success.
There are some ingredients in certain types of weight loss pills that has been linked to serious side effects. It has for example been proven that taking pills containing ephedra for a long period of time may lead to negative health effects. Negative effects include high blood pressure, nausea and insomnia. However, the ingredients are not the same for all different kinds of pills. Before you start taking them, you should always consult a medical professional who can help you decide which pill is best for you.
