If you suffer from persistent yeast infections then you mustn't start getting yourself in the cycle of taking anti fungal drugs just to alleviate your symptoms. This is the position almost all women are in that suffer from fungal infections that keep coming back. They treat the infection, it comes back, and then they treat it again, and just keep repeating the same process.
This type of treatment is not in any way curing your infection. All you're doing is alleviating your symptoms until the course of anti fungal drugs that you're using have finished. If this method of treating a fungal infection actually does anything, all it is, is the creation of a drug resistant yeast infection. You can't keep on bombarding a fungal infection with drugs, and not cause the fungus to become resistant to the medication being used.
Fungus is very good at adapting to things that are sent to kill it. If you keep on exposing it to the same drugs then it will just mutate into a stronger strain that becomes resistant. This is when most sufferers go back to see there doctor for a stronger treatment, thinking that the one they are using is not killing the fungus in their body.
If you use any anti fungal drug it will kill the fungus every time you us it. The reason why your infection has become persistent is not because the fungus is not being killed, it's because the Candida yeast in your body is mutating into more fungus once the treatment has stopped.
So to actually cure your persistent infections you need to discover why the yeast in your body is mutating into fungus. If you don't find this out then you're going to be treating the symptoms of your infection for a very long time. And it has been known for women to be taking oral anti fungal drugs for ten years. While this may be eliminating your symptoms, it does your body no good what so ever.
The main reason why the Candida mutates in the human body is because it has far too much of it living in it. It has outnumbered the friendly bacteria too much, and now it is taking over the environment. This allows it to get stronger, and then it mutates into fungus. So to stop it having the ability to do this you need to eliminate from your body. You can do this by starving it, and you can starve it by eliminating the foods from your diet that it enjoys eating the most. This is sugar and all foods that contain sugar.
Once you've starved the Candida it makes it much easier for your body's natural defenses to take the control of it that it once had. You'll also be able to kill the fungus in your body much easier as well, and you will be able to do it without using any drugs. This prevent the fungus getting any more aggressive when you're trying to remove it from your body.
Once you have reversed what is happening in your body you'll soon be back to an infection free life. The fungus in your body is doing you no good at all, and your persistent yeast infections are a sign that you need to do something about it.
If you're suffering from persistent yeast infections then you need to start treating them from the root cause. Learn more at Chronic Yeast Infections and start treating the causes of your fungal overgrowth from today.
