Smartphone may be taken as a handheld computer that has been integrated with a mobile telephone, but unlike most feature phones that run applications based on Java environment, a smartphone allows you to execute and multitask applications that are native to their own hardware.

A quick Snapshot of iPhone 4:

With the operating system iOS4 and a 5MP camera, the latest smartphone by Apple iPhone 4 made its way into the market in June 24th, 2010 as the thinnest touch screen smartphone. It’s the fourth generation of iPhone, and successor to the iPhone 3GS. Particularly marketed for video calling, books, periodicals, movies, music, and games and for general web and e-mail access, it was released in the USA, UK, France, Germany and Japan. On January 11, 2011, Apple and Verizon together launched a CDMA2000 compatible iPhone 4 with iOS 4.2.5, specifically for the Verizon network in the US, released on February 10, 2011.

Some very interesting features of iPhone:

Here are a few features that people usually overlook; however, they make the usage of iPhone much more interesting:

Screen grab: If you tap the home and sleep buttons at the same time, the screen shot of anything that is on your iPhone's display will be saved in your camera roll library.

Undo the easy way: If you give your iPhone a little shake, you would easily undo or erase your latest task. Even more interesting is that if you shake while typing, it brings up the option to undo it.

Quick Save images from the Web: If you like some images during browsing the internet on your iPhone, you can easily and quickly save it. Just tap and then hold any image; it will bring up buttons with options to save the image to your camera library or copy it to your clipboard.

Voice control – Always at your service: The voice control option in iPhone not only helps you to dial a specific number, it amazingly accepts voice commands for telling the time, tell the iPhone to connect you with people or places already in your address book and even control music.

Quick access to voice prompts: If you hold the home button down while the phone is locked, a "Voice Control" option will appear. It's a shortcut to make phone calls or use Face Time (iPhone's video call feature). It can also be used to access any of the iPhone's other voice commands.

Search: Just swipe your finger across the screen of iPhone, and you would get the options to search contacts, applications, e-mails, appointments and media all through keyword search. It can also be used to quickly search Google or Wikipedia.

No doubt that there are lots of other features of iPhone (as we have mentioned just a few of them). But as we say in case of any technology now-a-days; you would not get the essence of most information unless you use it. Happy navigation!!
