Before we understand the difference between a vaporizer and a humidifier, let us understand what they are separately.
Humidifier
A humidifier is a household device that is used to increase the humidity in the house. Humidifiers can make your house more comfortable especially in the winter. By making use of humidifiers you can increase the level of the humidity and this lets you breathe comfortably. It is most useful especially when you have children in the house. It can be extremely uncomfortable when your skin dries out, you have chapped lips and your cough acts up too. This is when a humidifier is useful, there are two kinds of humidifiers mainly cool and warm. Depending on the level of humidity in your house you can opt for the one required. The types of humidifiers are warm mist humidifier, steam humidifier, ultrasonic humidifier, forced air humidifier, etc.
Vaporizer
A vaporizer is a device that is used to inhale vapor from herbs and essential oils that will help relieve a person of ailments such as cold, cough and headaches. It helps to clear out the nasal and respiratory tract and makes you feel better. It is an object that has a compartment where you get to heat the herb, which is attached to a pipe like structure using which you get to inhale the vapor. Usually the vapor that comes out of the vaporizer is completely pure, and is full of all the active ingredients. Vaporizers are considered to be a big health benefit as all those who are regular smokers are now opting for a vaporizer. A vaporizer is also a type of a humidifier, some of the types of vaporizers are – portable vaporizers, digital vaporizers, rechargeable vaporizers, electric vaporizers, etc.
The major difference between a vaporizer and humidifier is that while a humidifier is used to increase the humidity level in the house by making use of a water vapor, a vaporizer used the water to create steam and let it out. A vaporizer is usually used for medical purposes or even for leisure, whereas a humidifier is used to making the entire condition of the house better, thereby making it better for those in it.
