Social work programs can consist of a three year bachelor program, master's level program and even part time programs.
A social work degree requires you to get practical experience, so that once you get your degree you are well prepared to be on the road to potential employment. Your work during the schooling process will provide you with a stronger position and base in your related field, and will add value to your CV. Nowadays there is a strong initiative in the UK, to train more and more social workers for the benefit of society. This means as soon as you complete your education, your skills will be in demand. Before you move on, you will have to complete your tests, get registered, and then start looking for a position in social care work. One of the best ways to go about it is to get registered with an agency. Once you complete the registration process, you will then find yourself on the road to fulfilling social care career.
