Wine chillers can be essential if you are running a business in the catering industry or just a luxury item for home use if you are serious about keeping and serving your wines at the optimum temperature. Here's a quick look at 5 different models available on the net. Starting with the smallest of these five wine chillers. The Stoves GDHA150SSWC offers a 7 bottle capacity and comes in a very chic stainless steel finish. An ideal model for home use, or perhaps for a small licenced café or similar. This model features a digital temperature display, an open door sensor and 6 shelves.
Next is the Baumatic Ltd BW150SS, a larger framed chiller with the same capacity but a slightly higher specication and feature set. With this one you get a fan assisted operation, electronic control operation, reversible doors and a black interior and exterior finish. Designed with Bordeaux in mind the Baumatic is designed to store wine at its optimum temperature between 4 - 18 C.
Our third model the Lec BC6007K moves things up a tad in terms of capacity and more into the commercial customer's cache. With a Gross Capacity of (l/cu.ft): 138 litres, this lockable chiller also offers temperature controls, and an open door sensor and is superb for holding wines and beers with equal ease. For our final two we move up again in terms of what they can hold. The Whirpool ARC2050 offers a maximum bottle capacity of 111 bottles (optimum 88) so is very much in the commercial arena. Featuring Wooden shelves, active odour carbon, low vibration system and humidity control this is a great model for keeping your fine whites in tip top condition and serving temperature - essential for your discerning customers. And finally the Aeg SW988205R - highest in price out of these five - provides you with a gross capacity of (l/cu.ft): 169 / 5.97. This is smaller than the previous model in terms of how many bottles it will hold but the build quality and feature set are second to none in this storage range. Auto defrost, a fast Cooling Switch and an interior ventilator fridge section are just some of the included features. All of these wine chillers and coolers are just some of the range available online and can all be found at http://www.wineday.co.uk a veritable online wine and wine accessories hyper market where you can search from thousands of items from the best merchants in the business.
