Translation can be associated with the process of changing a source language to the target language. Translation and interpretation are the two modes through which one language can be translated to another so that the person can understand the meaning of what has been said or used somewhere. While interpretation is performed orally, the translation requires written documents for the conversion. Translation is a written matter or documents that are converted from one language to another or multiple languages, whereas interpretation requires immediate conversion of the source to the target language. Translation requires the translators to have immense written skills as they are responsible for creating documents based on these translations. Interpretation on the other hand demands effective communication skills on the part of the interpreters.
As can be understood from the name itself, document translation is associated with translation.
