Looking for the best home in Bartlett is sometimes tedious and tricky. You have to select from vast property listings, search the perfect sized house, identifying the facilities that mean a lot for you, so on and so forth. Adding to the burden is the selection of the right neighborhood that is suitable for your lifestyle. However, Bartlett is diverse enough to present you with a myriad of neighborhood choices so you can select which option is best for your lifestyle.
Before going down to the neighborhoods, it's wise to start off with getting to know Bartlett. This amiable city is located one of the cities in Tennessee with lots of parks and attractions such as the Memphis Zoo, National Civil Rights Museum, Children’s Museum of Memphis, Pink Palace Museum and Fort Pillow State Park to name a few. Aside from that, residents can have fun celebrating its family oriented local events such as the Bartlett Celebration, Fireworks Extravaganza and Bartlett Christmas Parade. No wonder Money Magazine considered Bartlett as one of the 100 best places to live in 2007.
Being a part of the Memphis metro area, this city is housing a multitude of families, resulting in the establishment of numerous neighborhoods. One of these neighborhoods is Daybreak situated at St. Elmo and Altruria and Egypt Central and Altruria, and near Quail Ridge Golf Course. Its close proximity from area retailers such as Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, Walgreens, and CITGO makes it the first choice for businessmen and shoppers alike. It is also close to a golf course, offering spectacular green views and fresh air, not to mention a great golfing experience. The community is also nurturing an attractively landscaped garden with nice flowers, well maintained lawns and shrubs.
The neighborhood of Castle Ridge on the other hand is also known for its scenic beauty. Located just 15 minutes away from the northeast of Memphis, this elegantly named community is close to the famous parks of the metro area such as Spring Lake, Bartlett City Park and Shelby Farms Park. Spring Lake Park has a paved fitness trail, multipurpose sports fields, a playground for children, picnic tables, tennis courts and a pavilion while the other parks have cultural attractions, scenic trails and duck ponds. No doubt it is one of the most amiable neighborhoods to live in and raise a family, not to mention its several cultural and historical highlights.
The last neighborhood to be featured in this article is the Bartlett Woods community. It is hailed as one of the top communities to live in and raise a family by the City of Bartlett because of its small-town values, small-town spirit, and small-town friendliness. It is near to several elementary schools, highschools and universities such as Alturia Elementary School, Raleigh Bartlett Meadows School, Bartlett High School, the University of Memphis, Memphis Business Academy, Baptist College of Health Sciences, and Southwest Tennessee Community College. It is also close to the Bartlett City Park and to key establishments such as the Bartlett Towne Center and Raleigh Springs Mall, or in Memphis at Wolfchase Galleria Mall and the Memphis Farmers Market.
Daybreak, Castle Ridge and Bartlett Woods are associated with the Greater Bartlett Council of Neighborhoods. This 2006 - established Council of Neighborhoods works as a collective voice for Neighborhood Associations and Neighborhood Watch groups. Its objective is to preserve the neighborhoods' liveable condition and is run by Bartlett residents from different neighborhoods. You may start familiarizing with the members of this council to aid you in your quest for the best neighborhood.
