ITIL is the most accepted approach to IT service management. It provides a cohesive set of best practice drawn from public and private sectors internationally. ITSM derives enormous results from this best approach. As it operates in wide range of environment; so it is in state of constant evolution. There is a complete scheme for the training course qualification. It provides step by step modules, leading you to the full command over ITIL. It comprises of series of modules focusing on different parts from different depths. There are four levels of qualification in scheme: Foundation, Intermediate Level, Expert Level and Masters Level.

The purpose of dividing it in these four phases is to give flexibility to the candidate, to choose next to his present status. In addition, it makes it more flexible and an easily accessible program. There is a ladder, reaching up to the completion of training, and introducing the different systems. Credit system is one of those, where all candidates are recognized for their investment in the program. When any candidate successfully completes any phase of the training, he is awarded with some credit.

By earning this credit, he can now move to the next phase. For example if a candidate wants to move to Expert Level Training, he needs a required number of credits which is 22.

There is a credit administration policy, which determines the required number of credits necessary for applying any phase. It also tells whether the earned credits can or cannot be used in combination while applying for any phase. Here are few conflicts across which a candidate may be fulfilling all the needed and required number of credits, yet still may not be eligible to proceed further.

Apart from this administration, there is a credit profiler who works for preparing the profiles to help the candidates calculate the credits they have earned for their qualification. A complete portfolio designed by the officials and administration helps you get the necessary information of each category, embedded in the diagram.

Administration policy every time warns the candidates not to get deceived by the unregistered institutions, rather it emphasizes to get a certification through an ATO. Accredited Training Organization has a license, and its certification is approved worldwide, while the institutions having no license just show fake certification to loot you.
