You're recently single and you are ready to date again, but you are nervous as heck to get out there and start over! Now you have to worry about what he thinks, how you talk, how you dress, and even how you chew your food. Your relationship was so comfortable that those types of things were not something you had to think about.

Remember though that meeting someone new and getting to know them can be a fun, exciting process that sends butterfly's in your stomach and makes you giggle when you think about them, so getting out there and dating guys is totally worth it. How do you deal with the jitters and act semi-normal? You have your game plan in order before you head out to meet men. Here are some tips.

Don't play hard to get - There is some crazy relationship advice out there that tells you it's best to play hard to get with men. I'm here to tell you that advice is pure crap!

You obviously don't want to be jumping on top of men, but if you don't show them that you are interested then how are they supposed to know that you are interested? If you act hard to get or aloof to their advances then you may send the message that you are not interested in them.

If you do make arrangements for a date and you don't answer their phone calls, texts, or emails then they may think you have lost interest in them altogether and instead of risk rejection they may stop calling altogether! You are not going to make them try harder by acting hard to get; you are going to push them away.

Be Confident - If you are a woman who acts like she is all that then you are going to be a woman who gives off the message of being all that, and guys are going to want you. Having high self-confidence and acting like a woman who men want is the way to get their attention and keep it.

So even if you feel bad from your previous relationship don't let that secret out. Don't talk about how you don't feel that you are attractive because your ex made you feel bad about yourself, or any other down putting comments about yourself that you may want to express. Instead let him know that you are a woman worth any mans time. An added bonus to this is you will start to feel it the more you portray it.

Show interest - If you find a guy that you like then show interest in him and the attention he is giving you. Don't be scared to show interest because he will want to know if you are really digging him or if you would rather be at home washing your hair. Guys do not always get the message subtly so sometimes you have to really make it obvious.

When we like someone we tend to allow them into our space or move into their space, so being in their space shows that you want to be close to them and you are interested in them. Being in their space and touching them is a great way to show interest in them and they will definitely return the favour.

Eye contact is another way to show interest. Too little means not interested and too much can equal creepy. But you have to use eye contact to convey your interested and want to know more about them.

Build up a game plan including these three tips and you will find yourself enjoying the dating game rather than dreading it.
