The electric tooth brush we have is a round brush. It tends to get back on the upper back molar better and it is an oscillating circular motion. It tends to oscillate around the teeth a lot better than a manual due to just the speed of the tooth brush.

Different electric tooth brushes out there. So, there is not always one with round head. People with smaller mouth like the round head brush, so they can get back there easier. We should brush our teeth about two minutes. If you can do that for at least two minutes that is the best. Benefits of using electric tooth brush over manual are it’s a good motivator for people because they don’t have to use their hands that much. Especially children or young teenagers seem to brush better like a toy or something as they can get that motion using electric brush. You have the oscillating power already, so you don’t have to set your hands and brush super hard.

There are lots of people who use manual tooth brushes. You can still get really good results from a manual one. It’s all on your technique and how are you brushing your teeth. Make sure you are aiming your tooth brush a 45 degree angle towards your gum line. So, you ensure circular stroke, not an up and down stroke or side to side. Up and down or side to side stroke may tend to aggravate the gum tissue and the teeth.

Electric ones which actually have a charger probably one of the better tooth brushes. Because you just have to replace the head, you don’t have to replace the whole thing. The battery operated tooth brushes are good also. They help motivate children and others. They can spin almost the same. You have to replace the batteries in it.

Another thing you should do is flossing. Gum Disease, Tooth Decay and Bad Breath could be prevented by flossing. People floss their teeth in the morning or at night. But in most of the case people gets lazy to floss. Because in the morning they rush to their work and at night they are tired from the day; not feeling like flossing teeth. So the best time for you to take floss with your work and floss after lunch at least once a day as it’s better for gum and also overall health.

If you have any question or confused about choosing your tooth brush please consult your dentist.
