Hemorrhoids are pretty common and seen in many men and women. Piles or hemorrhoids are swollen up blood vessels which are a source of bleeding and a lot of itching sensation. Generally hemorrhoids when detected in the proper stage can be cure within a month’s time. However anything ignored is not good. If the condition goes out of control then a Hemorrhoids Laser Treatment becomes necessary. Doctors prefer the hemorrhoids to go away on their own and they do not recommend this method. However if the situation goes a bit out of hand steps like this method has to be taken.
When does this method become imperative?
Hemorrhoids are nothing but enlarged veins of the anal and rectal area. There are basically two types of hemorrhoids- the internal and the external. The internal hemorrhoid occurs mostly in the walls of the anal canal and hence cannot be seen outside. These are comparatively more painful than the other kind and are known to cause bleeding. The external hemorrhoids occur near the anal opening and can be seen drooping outside. These are not painless and cause an itching sensation. Bowel movements become very difficult. In the nascent stage the hemorrhoid can be treated through normal natural means but when something goes wrong it will need the laser treatment. Hemorrhoids Laser Treatment is then only performed when blood starts to form clots in the hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids in this particular condition are referred to as thrombosed hemorrhoids. This is a very painful state and requires immediate removal.
How is the treatment done?
This is a simple and safe procedure. No use of blade and no need for stitches. A laser beam emitted from the machine pierces the area and forces the hemorrhoid to fall off. This may require a few sittings and may not be done at one go. Basically the hemorrhoids shrink and fall off.
Advantages of Laser Treatment
Hemorrhoids Laser Treatment is a rather clean and hassle free process. Thanks to the progress of medical science the treatment is becoming safer day by day. Apart from the natural method this is the mist clinically recommended method. This is any day better than a surgical removal. This is a way faster method. Sometimes incase of natural means and surgical removals the hemorrhoids re-appear after a certain lapse of time. This is not so for laser treatments. They hardly ever come back. The patient can go back home the vary day of the operation as bleeding is rare or very little in amount. Last but not the least, this method does not leave behind any marks.
A few disadvantages
The first and foremost concern when one goes for Piles Treatment is that it is rather expensive. One always wants an expert hand when going for a treatment like this, however this being a comparatively recent method there are very few surgeons well trained in this field. This problem however will be solved within a few years time. The major disadvantage of this procedure is that it works only for external hemorrhoids.
Taking all the things into consideration and after proper medical assistance then only one should go for a Hemorrhoids Laser Treatment.
