Consume these five types of foods to lose weight fast. They will satisfy your hunger and increase your metabolism to burn extra calories. Additionally they are full of vital nutrients to help your body function better.
First, eat lots of vegetables, fruit and unprocessed grains. You will want to include some broccoli, spinach kale, apples, lemons grapefruit and whole grain brown rice. Fiber helps you feel satiated and is very nutritious. Fiber is also low in calories. In addition, fiber improves your digestive system.
Second, you will want to eat plenty of lean protein everyday. Protein assists with building muscle. Protein directly impacts the metabolic rate. Our bodies burn calories faster when they have more lean muscle tissue. Protein also breaks down more slowly than carbohydrates and will help you to feel full longer. Some great sources of protein include chicken, turkey, eggs, salmon and tuna.
Third, you will need healthy fats to lose weight fast. Our bodies need fats in order to produce hormones. Not enough fat slows down some metabolic processes. Try to add some almonds, walnuts, flax seeds, olive oil, avocados or coconut to your diet.
Fourth, enjoy a glass of nutrient filled green tea. Green tea is low in calories and boosts your metabolism. It is also full of antioxidants that will fight off free radicals. This simple beverage fights aging and boosts metabolism. Hot green tea slows down the process of eating and you end up eating less. Green tea can also help to eliminate cravings.
Finally consume eight to twelve glasses of water everyday. Water is the lowest calorie beverage you can find. Filtered water is free from harmful toxins as well. Drinking enough water will help stave off your hunger and also assists all bodily functions, including the metabolism.
Maintaining a healthy weight is a way of life. Start to consume these five foods to help you lose weight fast everyday. Replacing junk foods with these healthy options will improve your well being. Make sure that you are consuming whole foods as they contain fewer toxins and more nutrients. I don't bother to count calories and instead spend my time getting more of these foods into my diet.
